The whole tour from start to finish was excellent Pompeii was excellent the tour guide was very informative. Mount Vesuvius was brilliant and our lunch was first class. Connie and Francisco were absolutely brilliant. All I can say I wasn't disappointed
Embark on your adventure in Naples. First, explore the ruins of Pompeii, a Roman city preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Your guide will reveal Pompeii's highlights, including thermal baths, the Lupanare frescoes, the Macellum, and the Basilica.
Following Pompeii, ascend Mount Vesuvius and enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant boasting panoramic views of the volcano. You have the option to savour pizza or participate in a wine tasting accompanied by authentic local dishes. Then, have your driver accompany you to an elevation of 1000 meters, from where you'll hike to the volcano's summit to behold the awe-inspiring crater. At the apex, you're free to explore the crater independently. Admire Mount Somma (1133 meters) on your left and Vesuvius' cone (1281 meters) on your right, separated by the dramatic Valley of the Giant. Mount Vesuvius is both grand and mesmerising – a destination not to be missed.
