Meeting point:
The museum is located 100 metres from Florence Cathedral and the Accademia Gallery. From the Santa Maria Novella railway station you can reach the museum by walking about 15 minutes in the direction of Via dei Cerrerani and then Piazza Duomo.
What to remember
  • The purchase of a student ticket between the ages of 18 and 23 requires a valid student card to be shown at the entrance
  • The visit to the museum is recommended from 7/8 years of age
  • The museum has a visit regulation that will be reminded to each visitor at the entrance
  • Video filming is not permitted inside the museum, but it is possible to take souvenir photos for private use

    Nel complesso buon museo per pubblico fino a 14-15 anni. Spazi un po' ristretti, didascalie non esaustive per un pubblico più interessato e informato anche se ragazzi. Comunque carino da visitare. Sicuramente porterò la mia nipotina fra qualche anno.

    Leonarda Da Vinci was always an idol of mine & I truly enjoyed how interactive the museum was by showcasing inventions based on his designs. The only reason why I would not say it was an excellent experience is because of the crowd management and excessive noise. I could barely hear the audio guide!
