Cosa aspettarsi

Salite a bordo del trenino per buongustai di Sorrento per tre ore di tour tra i migliori panorami della campagna e i sapori più famosi della regione. Il trenino blu e bianco, dal sapore bizzarro e retrò, parte dalla collina di Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi per dare il via al vostro tour di degustazione.

Il primo a salire è il Monastero del Deserto. Risale al 1769 e regala alle monache benedettine residenti, e a voi, una vista paradisiaca sui golfi di Salerno e Napoli e sul Vesuvio. La tappa successiva è l'Orto Ghezi, dove potrete assaggiare i prodotti di un orto mediterraneo. Qui assaggerete il miele e la marmellata di mele "limoncelle", prima di recarvi in un'imponente azienda agricola biologica, Palazzo Raja.

In questa vasta tenuta vi attendono prelibatezze di ogni tipo. Visitate i limoneti, poi partecipate a un laboratorio pratico per trasformare i limoni freschi in limoncello e sorseggiate il saporito risultato finale. Vi sarà offerta una degustazione di vini, oltre a olio d'oliva fresco, pomodori, olive e pane, tutti prodotti nella tenuta. Inoltre, vi sarà una dimostrazione di produzione di mozzarella, dove potrete assaggiare il formaggio appena fatto.

On a guided tour with trusty headsets, you'll see the haunting boathouses – the sombre final chapters of desperate refugees – and the town's beautifully preserved marble floors, mosaics, and vibrant frescoes. Andrea says, 'Like many Roman towns, Herculaneum had a complex of public baths, which were a hub of daily life. These baths are particularly well-preserved and showcase the complex heating systems and detailed mosaics that adorned their walls and floors'.Lunch will be at a friendly, local restaurant, serving up Italian classics. This evening guided tour to the town of Amalfi and the out-of-the-way village of Catera has been specifically designed to dodge the tourists, giving you a more relaxed look at some of the area's main attractions. You'll get an up-close look at lots of different landmarks, just without having to jostle shoulders or stand on your tiptoes to get a good view.”This tour kicks off with a scenic drive along the coast to the town of Amalfi. The seafront roads in this part of Italy are often considered some of the prettiest in the world, so keep your camera pointed out the window during this bit. When you arrive in Amalfi, you'll follow your guide around the preserved Arsenele della Repubblica. This 1,000-year-old shipyard was originally used to fix galleons and other kinds of boats, but today it's one of the town's top museums. When you're done wandering around its exhibits, you'll have some free time to explore the town on your own.When you're finished in Amalfi, you'll hop on a ferry for a 40-minute journey to the village of Cetara.
